I try to make a digital image tangible again. My work is not so much about explanation and concept, it's a game and it's all about the image. I generally start with no idea, but by looking at and photographing images that interest me and mixing them up, a new image slowly emerges. For this new series of original works, I photographed in the "Riserva Statale Badia Prataglia" in Italy. The images are the basis for the painting. I applied a thick layer on the image with gel media and started to paint over it. The painting is a unique work of art and has a lot of structure and is very detailed. You can almost immerse yourself in this forest landscape.Format:
